About Ulyana Turchenko

Ulyana Turchenko was born in 1980 in Ukraine (Lviv).
She studied in Lviv at the Artistic School of Oleksa Novakivskyi.
In 2002, she graduated from the Ivan Trush Lviv State College of Decorative and Fine Arts.
Since 2014 she has been living and working in Poland (Stargard).
In 2016, she was a consultant and lecturer for the stone lithography in Jilin College of the Art, China.
2019 – Finalist «Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize» Traditional Art, Australia.

Ulyana creates in the technique of stone lithography, drawing and painting.
The works are made in the style of symbolism and fantastic realism with surreal motives.
They are also filled with a mixture of mythological symbols, poetic forms and fantastic characters.
